I pretty much agree with most of what Lem said here, other than the part abo=
ut billing people when they do a personal job as a training or qualifying ru=
n. I'm pretty sure one of mine was a job for myself and I got to write up my=
 own bill and was reminded that I couldn't take the job out of the shop unti=
l I had paid.=20

I actually think it is a bad idea not to charge someone. If they don't get c=
harged then they don't learn how to write up an invoice. That is definitely a=
n area where doing is better than having it explained to you for remembering=
 the procedure
