hi Alex,

* Please ask rkw, then apo-printshop@mit.edu for help. rkw has done
this job a number of times, and can laptop when you don't need her
  help.

If no one else steps forward, please get back to me about being
around in case you get stuck. I'm over busy right now.

(There are lot's of things, that only I do for the print shop, and
it's good to spread the mentoring around ; - )

* The hard part of this job has always been getting the PVP, SVP, and
BookEx Chair to give the needed info in time to print it. Ask
early, and often, and get them to make scheduling a priority!

* I'm pretty sure that only 500-600 were printed this Spring. Check
the log? I also believe a lot of them were not picked up.

* You might see if Wayne Johnson(?) at the Registrar's Office has any
pre-printed schedule cards for you to print. if not, you can buy
blank 3x5 index cards at University Stationers up near the MIT
  Museum on Massachusetts Ave.

* Ideally they are printed 36-48 hours before you hand them out, so
  they dry.

* Be nice to have them ready for Activities Midway. And find places
other than Book Ex to hand them out. You could put a small box with
a supply on the APO infinite corridor board. And or make posters
  with a small box attached.

   Subject: Reg day run

   Hi Len,

We are getting awfully close to reg day, but I would like try to make a reg
day run happen this year. I've talked to a few people both APO and non-APO
and they all appreciate the schedule cards. The only two undergrad operators
right now are afarrell and I. We would both be interested in helping, but we
only just qualified and had the whole summer away from MIT. I would much
appreciate any advice you might have about making this happen.

Is it still possible to make this happen? Do you have time to help? Maybe we
can try to do it next week or next weekend sometime?

   YiLFS,
   -Alex
