Hi Len,

I believe that is the office Kerri is working with to take sales tax for=20
us.  As much as it may seem to you that she does not understand the law,=20
it is her job to manage the finances for MIT's student groups and MIT=20
provides the resources necssary to do this.  The tax laws seem long and=20
complicated and I'm grateful you and Ellen are familiar enough to point=20
things out.  Thankfully, Kerri is able to go one step further and find a=20
way for us to provide the service we want to.  If she, as MIT, gives us a=
=20
way to accept sales tax or similarly legally provide services, I see no=20
reason not to - after all, if we don't in that situation, when would we?
I, for one, look forward to APO being known across campus and having no=20
student group unaware of our services.
