(1) I looked into this, and it does not appear to be a violation of our
501(c)3 tax exemption to provide the service at cost. Do you have a specific
reference you could share?
it's also a violation of our sales tax exemption
you're wrong. my reading of the case law on this made it quite clear,
but i don't have that info handy

crystal clear. appearances can be deceiving ; - }
for those who don't know, i've been a director of several non-profits,
and have helped them get 501(c)3 status. as a director, i've been
legally, financially, and personally liable for their behavior. i've
read most of the IRS docs, not only section 501 of the code, regs,
etc, but a lot of the rest (501 coves much more than just (c)3, ...)
if @ cost was a criteria (it isn't) and we really don't have the
proper accounting to even know what cost is here
