Subject: Re: trouble locking up...
* i added a copper thin to the third line from the bottom,
and a blue paper thin (i advise against using these (they change
width when they absorb solvent/ink)) to the second line from the
bottom, so the letters couldn't be pushed/squished out
* as a practical matter, a few interior lines can be "squishy" and the
job will usually print fine, IF (note this IF ; - ) the type doesn't
move after a few of the "bounce"/"drop" tests
* setting one line @ a time in the same stick, is the best way to get
all the lines the same width
this is needed more when you are setting a long block, that is one
that is higher than a stick can hold
anyone wanting my rationales for these rules of thumbs i've been
emailing, can ask me in person, preferably in the APOster print shop
