i prefer to not reproduce prior designs for training and qualifying
runs.
learning to select type/cuts/rules/dingbats and layout them out is
part of teaching, and often is the most satisfying part of it for
the students.
* if you wish,
for all three invites,
please also ask if they like (and have budget for) envelopes,
which can be printed,
if the shop has press ops/qualifiers to do them
i won't use envelopes for a training one,
and prefer not to use them for qualifying
it's one more, reasonably hard thing to learn,
and just doing basic cards on the press is a lot to master
and the time it takes to train is already long
the qualifying run is suppose to validate that the trainee learned
enough from the training run to be qualified.
teaching a new skill is beyond that, and adds to the time which
already is long
doing a return address envelope is a short job for someone who knows
how to use the press, hopefully press-ops can take them on

Hi Len,
Piper (wings) also expressed interest in press training, in case you haven't
contacted her yet.
Kristin is printing the SFF invitations tomorrow, but we still have
Steak Fry and I-Banquet invitations that could probably be used in
the training and qualifying runs.
