Hi Kate,
I've been waiting for Alan to chime in on the blocks. We haven't
ordered any since Mitch became Press Shop Manager, and even early when
I took over from Alan as chief training journeyman.
I have a vague memory that Alan told me that the place he use to use
(over in Everett?) had gone out of business.
If Alan can't give us a pointer, I'll have to check the yellow pages,
and WWW info. I have no idea what the time line is or cost will be.
Do you have the paper stock you'll be printing on?
The shop inventory is not as fully stocked as when you were trained.
So if we have to get stock, the sooner the better.
What is the art like you like to reproduce? High contrast is best.
Deep solid black on glossy high white stock.
Do you need a halftone done?
I could meet you in the APOffice around 6pm on Saturday to look at the
art.
I can probably arrange to be around in mid-January for
advice/fellowship.
