Hi All,
Beyond choosing the typefaces, cuts, and blocks, and deciding how to
lay them out and space them, there are a number of other design
parameters. They include:
- color and kind of ink(s), with each ink color being a separate run
- color and kind of paper(s), E.g. the thank you notes might also want
to have envelopes printed with AX's return address on them, and
maybe an APO Crest on the front or on the flap.
- whether to print on both sides of the paper
- whether and how to fold the paper, and how many folds to make at
what angles
- whether and how to perforate the paper, which is a separate run
Which is why I pointed Kaia et al at the job sample archive.
One of the pleasures I get in being around the Shop, is seeing new
designs from other Press Ops.
