Couple of comments, since I wasn't there. =)

* Why don't the SVP files need to be shared? Is there any reason we
wouldn't want to provide the information for other service groups?

* I am often in the position of having a telephone and a computer on
the net in near proximity. For example, now. =) In fact, most of my
calling this summer has been in such a situation. But more
importantly, I think it would be much easier to coordinate the finding
of projects if I had some sort of central database. I'm trying to
encourage PC's to find their own projects, and this gets hard to
organize out of a card file and a calendar. Who is calling which
sites? How do we keep sites from accidentally being contacted twice by
different people? What if the site isn't available on the particular
weekend the PC is responsible for, but they would like us to come a
different weekend? I'm not saying we can't do this out of a card
file, but I think it would be easier to do online.

* I completely agree that our first priority should be to update the
card file. I sincerely doubt I will have the time to call every phone
number in the file. Any of the less phone-shy brothers (Ann? ;) )
willing to give me a hand with this, before classes start and we all
  get busy?
