(I know this is short notice, but they just called me back today...=)
This Saturday, the Bay State Games will be happening here at MIT. As it
turns out, one of the sponsors of the Bay State Games is Ben and Jerry's
ice cream. AND... (here's the good part) they want to know if we would
be willing to help scoop ice cream this Saturday from 11am to 5pm.
The details: They need about 2 people at a time, spread out over those
six hours. So if you are exceptionally hungry, you can volunteer for
the whole day. Or if you are exceptionally tired, you can take an
hour. The Bay State Games will be at MIT, so there is no travel
involved. No, I don't know if they will have Chocolate Chip Cookie
Dough. =)
So: you should send this form back to me. Even if you are not
interested. Even if you are not sure yet. And you should do so soon;
if I don't get enough people by Thursday, I'll tell them so. I'll put
something in the office, too. Maybe I will call people. =) or maybe
I'll just be swamped with replies.
