I wanted to say that I was indeed at the show yesterday, but apparently
you all had a different spot in mind, and so I never did find you. Personally
I don't find fireworks really all that exciting usually, although
yesterday's show was really impressive. But I think I got as good a view
as any of the fireworks, and I got to be right up front for the concert,
which is what I really wanted to see... I don't know, but I would have
rather picked a spot that I could see the stage from than the fireworks.
To me, its not just listening to the music, but seeing the people playing
it as well. I just seem to enjoy it more that way... if anyone feels
the same way about this, we should get together next year on the 4th,
because I don't like just picking a spot for just the fireworks... sorry
personal preference here... I happened to like where I ended up, which
happened to be about 20 or 30 feet from stage, and I met some really neat
people during the day. So, anyway, point being... I am sorry that
I did not see you guys, but my choice in where to be was just a little
bit different than what Ezra had secured for us.
Anyway, this is all my personal feelings and nothing that says
you should feel the same way... just a comment that maybe not everyone
wants to sit on the river for the fireworks....
Like I say, I got about as good a view as I think anyone did.
Anyway... I guess I will see you guys on friday...
