Hello!!
We've talked to most of you by now; if we haven't heard from you, please tell me
(by phone 5-7232 or e-mail) whether or not you can make it, if you would like a
wake-up call, and if you can help with set-up on Wednesday.
SETUP is Wednesday at 3:30 pm in DuPont; please come and help out!
A few quick notes:
1) Please report to Lobdell at 7 am.
2) We're asking everyone to order lunch by 10:00. IF YOU ARE ORDERING LUNCH AND
WILL NOT BE IN BY 10:00, PLEASE E-MAIL ME SO WE CAN HAVE YOU PRE-ORDER LUNCH.
Also, in order to make Harry's job easier (Harry is our food sub-PC), we're
debt-listing everyone and asking y'all to pay us back LATER.
3) Most people will need to leave at some point during Reg Day. We ENCOURAGE
this; but please, please, please come back for the end - we will need many
people to help with break-down and sorting address cards.
4) PLEASE log in and log out during Reg Day: we get paid by the hour, and it is
very important that you do that. There will probably be a balloon floating by
the table where we've got the sign-in sheet.
5) Dupont will be COLD; do dress warmly.
6) If everyone could bring a few cheap pens, that would be nice; we'll have
tape and string to keep the pens from walking - TOO quickly....
7) There is a NEW system: there will NOT be stickers on the registration cards
that we give them; new MIT Cards will be issued via living group in
mid-February. This will be EXPLAINED on the registration cards.
That's about it. I'll be making wake-up calls around 6:30; Harry will call
people who need to pre-order lunch in the next few days. On Reg Day, I or
someone else "in charge" will be wearing a balloon - if there are any questions,
just look for the balloon. Thanks a lot!!!!!
