Hello!
I have two quick things to share with y'all.
First, I'd like to reemphasize Barbara's last message to everyone. Kevin and I
have posted a list of freshmen who were interested in community service at the
beginning of the year. They will be receiving interdepartmental mail shortly,
and it would be good if people could talk to them about APO sometime SOON. The
list has a place for everyone to initial the people with whom they will talk,
and also a place for you to put the date on which you talked to them. This is
very important.
WHEN YOU TALK TO FRESHMEN (especially those who sound interested), ask them to
seriously consider coming to the open meeting monday at 7 pm in Public Dining
Room #1 AND ask them if they would be interested in helping out for Reg Day.
Reg Day is one of the best projects that prospectives can start out on. I
haven't gotten a commitment from the administration types about serving us
breakfast on the morning of Reg Day, but I'll try to beat it out of them as soon
as possible.

Second, concerning Reg Day: We need about 10 good people to help set-up for
Registration Day on WEDNESDAY at 3:30 pm in DuPont. IF YOU CAN DO THIS, PLEASE
SIGN UP IN THE APO OFFICE OR SEND ME MAIL.
We still need sub-PC's for Set-up, Break-down, Food, and Manpower -- ESPECIALLY
Manpower. If you can do any of these, please reply ASAP.
Also, we will need people to help out with Break-down after Reg Day, and then
some people to help sort the address cards in the APO office afterwards. We'll
be needing people at all times, so if you need to leave in the middle of the day
BUT YOU CAN COME BACK, please do.
Finally, we need five people to help distribute class lists on Friday morning -
we will be meeting at 7:30am on Friday morning in the APO office. If you can
help out, PLEASE SEND ME MAIL.
