Hi all!
Just wanted to let you know what is up in the MVP department.
First of all, since it is so important, we have an OPEN MEETING NEXT
MONDAY, at 7:00 PM, in Public Dining Room #1. Since this is the first
open meeting, I'd like all the brothers to show up at ** 6 PM **. I
realize this is a bit early, but I'd like to go over some stuff, and
go through a quick run through of the meeting. Please, even if you
can't make it at 6, it is very important that you make it by 6:30.
And it is *very* important that you come. We will be losing some
brothers to a Crisis planning meeting, so we need you.
We have a spiffy new display in one of the glass panels in the
Infinite Corridor, thanks to a lot of people who gave their time and
talent. Thanks!
Letters have gone out to all of the 250+ freshmen who indicated
interest in community service. Thanks again to those wonderful souls
who stuffed envelopes at chapter weekend.
Albert and Kevin have put up a signup sheet with the names and living
groups of all the freshmen (thanks, guys!). Look through it, and sign
up to go talk to people in your living group. If you want to look at
the list online, it is in /mit/apo/Officers/MVP/S94 in many different
incarnations. Just send me mail telling me who you are talking to.
We have a drop poster design in the works; please, stop by the
office and give me a hand with it! I'll be around in the mid-to-
late afternoon and late evening working on it. I'm going to try
to stencil the letters and indicate colors, so even if I am not
around, feel free to grab a paint brush and help out.
Sometime tomorrow, there should appear in the office a stack of
posters. As you leave, be sure to grab a few and poster the campus.
I think that is it! Now is a good time to talk to those around
you you think might be interested in APO. Invite them to an open meetings,
Reg Day, open projects, etc, etc, etc.....
