Greetings,
Well, its that time of year again. The next Chapter meeting, which will be
Wednesday the 10th, we will be opening nominations. Toward this end, Nomcomm,
which is currently composed of myself and Ping, will be at work over the next
few days.
Remember, the purpose of NOMCOMM is to do a couple things.
1) To help answer questions about offices you are interested in and might want
to hear more about. To help people that would like to run for an office to
pick one that's manageable...
2) To try to coordinate nominations so that there's at least one candidate for
every office. This takes the form of trying to steer people who are kind of
undecided (but willing to run for something) into offices where gaping holes
exist...
So, we will be trying to speak with as many of you as we can in the next few
days. You can help us out by writing us and telling us where you stand- if
you've firmly made up your mind to run for a specific office, or not to run
for anything, let us know! If you have some questions, send them to us!
