Administrative notes:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Start: 7:42 pm; End: 8:57 pm Present: Merry, Carolyn, Laura, David-
mac, Sam, Nitin, Andy, Lokie, Ellen, Ian, Jake, Foley, Nick Martin,
Ari
Officers' reports:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
SVP (Sam): We had a project on Saturday. We attended and sorted
food. It was fun. We had an impromptu fellowship dinner after-
wards. For the summer, there will be a Walk for Breast Cancer
project the weekend of June 3rd. It will be right here on the
MIT campus. We need a PC.
MVP (Ann Marie): not present; hosed; 2.007; channelled by Sur-
rogate Mommy Carolyn: Pledge voting happened. Neophyting
will happen Wednesday and Thursday; await the e-mail.
FVP (Joe): There's a bunch o' shtuff. Three out of five days next
week will have study breaks; there's the Night of the Bunny
Rabbits, the CBSB [Chocolate and Backrub Study Break], etc.
It's fun. I-Banquet is this Friday, May 12. I have the knife
order and will send it out tonight. They have a 24-hour phone
number. There are still only about three requests on the DJR
[letter shirts] list. I'll send it in next week--send me e-mail
to order.
Treasurer (Oscar): not present
AC (Ian): Hello. We have I-Banquet in E25-401. We'll need to get
in right after the Colloquium reception so we don't get locked
out, but it's free after that. I gave CAC the 2002-2005 Book Ex
dates; the Spring 2001 Book Ex has "Issues." I also reserved
space for Initiation.
APOcEd (Nitin): I didn't get out that many issues, but Andy will
be putting together the last issue of the term.
OM (David): Since the last ExecComm, I bought erasers, envelopes,
thumb tacks, and push pins. Keep the office clean.
PubDir (Lokie): We need to order paper. I need to find that book.
[OM: The Chapter Book is in the mailbox labelled Chapter
Book.] That should happen soon. I got paper for our new sign
on the Infinite Corridor bulletin board. It has felt so we can pin
things in.
Historian (Jake): I haven't done a lot recently. Historian's Rolls are
happening slowly.
Advisory Comm. Chair (Ellen): People, especially incoming offi-
cers who haven't been to one already, should go to CPW. Reg-
ister really soon now, or they will start cancelling sites. There
should be a form on the Nationals website [http://www.apo.org].
The nearest one is in Connecticut on June 16, which is also Fa-
ther's Day weekend.
President (Carolyn): We have a chapter. This is good. We have
new officers. This is also good.
Committee reports:

New Business:

None!
The meeting is adjourned and immediately reconvened with the incom-
ing ExecComm.
Officers' reports:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
SVP (Carolyn): I haven't done anything yet. We will have service.
It will be good. If you have any ideas or want to PC stuff,
talk to me. Ted Johnson gave us leftover T-shirts from Johnson
Games, which we can use for Project Linus to make the blankets
for children with cancer. If you have any fabric or thread you'd
like to donate, put it in the office.
MVP (Merry): My pledge term's going to rock.
FVP (Lokie): I'm thinking about dates. [pause] [laughter] [squirm]
I'm trying to think of how to do fellowship for a large chapter.
Treasurer (Ian): I'm going to talk to Oscar to figure out the budget
for the fall. If you want more money for next term than was
allotted for this spring, tell me.
AC (Jake): Ian will cluedump me. I'm glad I'm not dealing with
I-Banquet.
APOcEd (Andy): We will have an APOc. I have a mock-up. I want
content. Give me content. I'll have an issue out after I-Banquet.
OM (David): Yes again, we have an office. We still have money. If
there's anything you want to buy, tell me really soon now. I
won't be here over the summer.
PubDir (Lokie): [same report as earlier]
Historian (Jake): I'm not normally very outgoing. Tonight's not an
exception.
Advisory Comm. Chair (Ellen): Hi.
President (Laura): I do have a hat. I'm not Carolyn, but I have a
hat, thanks to Lokie.
Summer Mailing:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Merry has a draft of the summer mailing to the incoming freshmen.
More tips and advice were added, so there's much text. It was suggested
that watermarks with APO insignia and bubble wrap be added.
Announcements:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Carolyn: Neophyting will happen really soon now. I'll probably get
people during the study break tomorrow. You'll get an e-mail
if your little is getting elevated. Figure out where he or she will
be.
PFTGOTO:
~~~~~~~
David: The new budget was passed by [UA] Finboard. Campus Cru-
sade for Christ got $15 out of their requestd $1181, and Campus
Crusade for Cthulu got $320 out of their request $470.
Jake: Last Thursday afternoon, Brian Perrin was shot three times in
the back. Role play accordingly.
Foley: Ann Marie's 2.007 robot was the prettiest.
Sam: I'm interviewing tomorrow for a job.
Meredith: Laura should dye her hair red [to match other ExecComm
officers].
Carolyn: I'll help.
Foley: [But] then it won't be the trinity of redheads [anymore].
Carolyn: I should stop going boom right around now.
Andy: My professor sucks.
