Minutes of Joint ExecComm (Mon., May 3, 1993)

*Administrative notes:

Start: 7:01 pm; End: 9:17 pm. Present: Bridget, Ping, Bert, Crystal, Dave,
Harry, Sara V., Kevin, Gilbert, Kate, Joe

*Officers' reports:

*SVP's report:

---not present---

*MVP's report:

Neophyting on Wednesday. I want to be able to count the votes by
Tuesday! I-Banquet is coming up. Initiation is at 5:30 in Building
24 in the K. Lounge (5th floor). Pledges should show up at 5:00
(Kate: They should also bring 37 for the elevation fee). Brothers
involved in the ceremony should show up at 4:30 in the office.

*AVP's report:

I wrote outgoing/incoming reports for the Apoc.

*Treasurer's report:

MSSF was a financial disaster---we lost 250. I have copies of the
estimated budget for this term. I think we need a better method for
leaving money for the treasurer. We might have lost some money from
the drawer.

*Fellowship Chair's report:

Not much. I wrote an outgoing report. I have yet to meet with Ezra.

*APOcEd's report:

I'll be training my successor on Wednesday. Send articles by
Wednesday evening.

*ASC's report:

I'll be here this summer. I'll be getting equipment to clean the
couches over the summer. I'll write reports for the Apoc.

*PubDir's report:

Sorry I've been lame about the board.

*Historian's report:

---not present---

*Chairman of the Advisory Committee, report of:

---arrived later; nothing to report---

[Kate:] afterfinals---I have two options. Both not on a
weekend.

I tried calling Campfire. It's 2 hours west of
here, and we can only go on the 19th--21st (Wednesday--Friday). (You
can stay for the community service conference on the weekend if you
want to.) They've got lots of work. The guy was also reasonably
interested in arranging transport for us.

Girl Scout camp in Waltham. Anytime during the week (the week
finals end or the week after.) There's enough work for two days,
maybe three. I want to make the decision soon. Transportation is not
a problem; there's a train! (Kate gets some input) Dave: I
think we're all apathetic. At least, I am. Kate: I have
feelers out at some Boy Scout camps, but I don't have time to follow
them up before the end of the week.

*President's report:

If you see anyone who hasn't signed up for I-Banquet, tell them to!
by tomorrow afternoon!

Outgoing officers should talk to incoming officers.

Budget/Scheduling Meeting

*Officers' reports (take two):

*President's report:

Kevin: Who's going to be here this summer?

(Bridget, Ping, Gilbert, Harry, Ezra, Kevin, and maybe Amy)

I'd like to get together with each officer, one at a time. Free food!

*Fellowship Chair's report:

Ezra: There's going to be a Fellowship/MomComm this Friday. We'll
meet at 7:00 to revise the Pledge Requirements, Brotherhood
Expectations, etc., so we can have it done before we get pledges next
term. There might be a dinner trip beforehand, if anyone wants one.
