I've been informed that this is a bit too narrow a date range; while
the opening ceremony is on the evening of December 27th, there are
workshops during the afternoon. So, if you're booking plane tickets to
come to Nationals, try and arrive noonish on the 27th if able, to be
able to take advantage of everything that's going on during the
conference. (If you can't make it until later in the day, that's OK
too!)
