Hi Sophie and gang,
Sorry if you already got the email -- Robert is organizing another
baking event this Sunday, this time to support a cause near and dear
to my heart: a hospital in rural Nepal run by a tech-savvy MIT alum:
www.nyayahealth.org -- check out the wiki where *all* other financials
and clinical data are made public, making this one of the most
transparent charities ever. Not to mention that they provide medical
care to a community of 200,000 people, mostly women, living for under
$1/day.
On the menu is banana bread, granola bars, bread rolls, and cookies.
The stuff will be sold in Lobby 10 on Monday and Wednesday, and in the
Student Center on Tuesday. I'd also love some help selling if anyone
is available.
Hope you can come support the cause!
Best,
Anna
