APO Chapter Meeting
Sunday September 07, 2008
called to order by austein, sometime around 1900h

present: lwest, mitchb, kchen, jaxxson, jmcquaw, zev, sophical, austein,
kdrinkwa, ederegt, ianyh, yukikaze, nteague, creutz, tower, ccrazy,
Lori, clyde
non-brothers: k_french,

SVP: Greater Boston Food Bank needs a PC

Treasurer: BookEx happened. $25374.60 moved through it, 5x as much as
has ever happened. The budget still needs to be worked out.

Brotherhood: Chapter Weekend happened! There is (will be) food! There
will be a meal at every chapter meeting. We will have a poster on the
wall with brother bios. We're going to start using the list apo-discuss
for just talking about stuff that we don't necessarily want to spam
apo-news with.

AC: We may or may not have W20-400 for this term. We have it at least
for tonight. I'm going to get the mail.

BookEx: It was huge! We could have used more people, since it was huge,
and sometimes there were only 2 brothers around. We should get people to
hear about this, since spam to dorms about books are annoying.

We owe a thank-you to the people who took time out of working on the W35
to help us set up TechCash for BookEx.

Advisor: Joe Kutcha passed away over the summer. There is a memorial
fund being set up with MIT. If it gets enough money, it will become a
second endowment fund for the chapter. It will be used to help the
chapter gain membership. Bonnie Kellerman with the alumni association is
doing this.

Nationals is coming up, in Boston, the week between Christmas and New
Years. We need to decide on our chapter's two voting delegates. They
will sit on the floor and vote for us. Any brothers are eligible. We
should let Mims know by October. Delegates must be registered for
Nationals. If you plan on going to Nationals, you should register. You
can go online, though paper information should arrive eventually.
Our delegates are important because APO policy is set at Nationals,
decided on by the delegates from each chapter.

We should also be getting information soon about Conclave. It will be
October 24th-26th, in New Haven, Connecticut.
