Below are the minutes from the first Exec meeting of term.

First Exec meeting of term

Nothing recently, except for the Midway Project.
Open projects coming up soon.
Chapter Weekend saturday/sunday - lwest

Treasurer:
Probably good, since Yi-Hsin is outgoing. Still needs to be a clue-dump.
We should change the account signitories.

Pam and B/L will likely cost more than this. Since we're trying out the
new Brotherhood VP this term, it would be a shame to have to cut the new
things we want, but if we do we're about right on budget. It's unclear
whether we can increase the budget or not, since Treasurer still needs a
clue dump. We could just do it this one time, but we don't want it to be
a one-time thing. Go ahead with this.Lets work on the budget later.
*discussion on making meals cheaper* If we plan things ahead of time, we
can cook instead of order, and things are cheaper/better, or order more
carefully.
lwest made a fellowship commitee with her and ederegt and kkuhn. They
will have meetings, make sure individuals in the chapter are doing okay,
paying attention to them.
There will actually be a thing in the office with pictures of actives.
Spreadsheets to keep track of brotherhood requirements for individuals,
since people don't keep good track, forget.
We'll see how this goes, before trying to do the poster with stickers,
so it doesn't seem too kindergarten-ish, and also sort of a wall of
shame, thing. It's useful to know, though, so public access could be
cool. We'll see how it goes.
lwest would like to recognize at I-Banquet the brothers that actually do
meet their brotherhood requirements, or do awesome or something.
PledgeVP (MVP):
The pledge manual is almost done. Waiting on a chapter history update.
It's just about done, will be ready next weekend.
Emails to prospectives are happening.
Apparently the midway went really really well. We got lots of names.
PVP is confused
Some people who signed up at the midway had scouting backgrounds, do we
know people with scouting background who can talk to them?

Thanks to sophical for being at the midway for the whole time. She's
also in charge of lots of things, and is awesome.

The bulletin board in the Infinite has been updated, and is awesome!
The Infinite slideshow has slides.

I bought new drop poster paint.
We should get pretty things[posters]to catch the eyes of frosh.

The books are out of the office.
There is a thing set up for Quantum, so we don't get confused about
selliong them. There'll be some sort of turorial for working with that.
ianyh did stuff with that.
Quantum is giving the option of picking up books (bought online) at
BookEx. We get 5% for each book sold/picked up here.
Lets have the bookex meeting afterwards. Okay.
We need people to sign up for hours!!!
Chapter Weekend:
Money. It will probably cost a significant amount. We need to figure out
where that comes from.
Transportation - $12/brother or pledge
Food - $14/person
We still need transportation. lwest is on it.
