For those who are not attending conclave this weekend, there
will be a rollerblade/bicycle trip this Saturday. We will be going
south to Stony Brook Reservation, which is technically still within
Boston city limits. Actually, it's best to say that it's just east of
Dedham. To give an idea of the location, it is 6 miles (as the crow
flies) south by southeast of campus. Also, it is 2.5 miles southeast
of the Forest Hills T-stop (along Washington St.). Please note that
Washington street is quite hilly (forest *hills*). An alternate route
to the far end of the reservation would be 3.5 miles (crooked) from
the T-stop along Hyde Park Av., making a right (west) turn at River
St. (soon to be Bald Knob Rd.). I have not taken this route
myself--please look at a map. I suggest it only as an alternative to
the hills (this might have them also).
	What: Rollerblade/bicycle trip
When: Saturday, 11/12/94 11:15 am till dinner or dark.
	Meet: APO Office, (11:15 am)
Prep: EAT LUNCH PRIOR TO MEETING
Bring: (only suggestions) Map & compass, WATER, EXTRA SOCKS,
money (in case), tools, light jacket, anything else
you want to carry on your back all day.
Don't: DO NOT bring lots of miscellaneous stuff that will
		become heavy.
One last point--because there will be two different modes of
transportation on this trip, bicyclists should please expect to carry
things for those on skates. This will hopefully act to equalize
speeds. Please RSVP (BY PHONE!) to 225-8857. Thanks!

P.S. If the weather is rain-ING, it's off. Otherwise, we'll decide then.
