Hey everyone! July 4th is coming up (Friday!) and you know what that means?
Fulton's Folly! w00t!
So we're gonna go over to the Esplanade in the wee hours of the morning (ie
9AM when the oval opens) and stake out our spot. I'd say there should be a
couple of us (ie not just me) who get there at 9, and the rest can get there
ASAP (aim for 11? I'll figure it out in the morning when I'm (maybe) less
sleep-depped). We'll bring games and snacks and stuff like that (anyone
who's been before, I'd really appreciate some sort of an awesome description
of what happens, what I might need to know). Anyone have any ideas about
someone we can borrow a tent from or how to set up the tarps better than in
previous years? It doesn't look like it's supposed to rain, so we could just
hope, but that sounds like a bad idea for me.
So- if you can come- TELL ME! And bring games and stuff. We're gonna meet in
the office before heading over, in two runs. If you can come to the 9AM run,
I'd really appreciate it. i don't know what I'm doing and need help. I don't
even know where the esplanade is properly though that's easy to remedy. If
you are planning on meeting later, tell me and say when though I'm thinking
around 11 or 12. More info soon, but email me ASAP! It'll be awesome! You
know that a site that is july4th.org for one city alone means that the
fireworks in that city must be AWESOME. Yay! And I can be bouncy and excited
because I'M STILL A FROSH. errr... and I'm sleep-depped right now. Read the
important stuff in this email. In summary:
