Mea Culpa.  I had a chart which I submitted for corrections that 
summarized the user authentication and forms abilities of the browsers I 
saw hitting our site in preparation for the forms-and-user-auth side of 
HotWired.  You can see the results of that query at

However, it was NOT intended to be used on, or suggest its use on, server
that return different responses to different browsers.  The only place 
that's done on HotWired is to warn users of NCSA Mosaic for Windows that 
they can't post in authenticated areas.

The bug has been fixed for the next release of WinMosaic I've been told -
