Oh. This is *correct* C? I agree that moaning never solved
anything though... and he made an offer of a rewrite.
BTW. I do remember a very obscure bug in NCSA httpd. Something
about a pointer not being returned when it should be, but because
of the calling sequence, it would show it's face very rarely, and
cause a core dump.
