I've just spent the past six weeks wading through the biggest collection
of spaghetti code I've ever seen in my life: the NCSA httpd.

Global vars up the wazu. Bad C. No comments. Pointless comments (e.g.,
"...what a pain in the ass..." ).

It's crying out to be rewritten in a readable and maintainable fashion.

Has anyone done this, or would anyone be interested in collaborating on it?

email replies preferred for now.

Richard
