The current state of lola, as regards NetBSD:

(a) It's running 0.9C--which is just about what will be NetBSD/i386 1.0.

(b) /usr/kerberos is populated with stuff compiled from the Cygnus stuff
which I lifted from the linux-athena locker. I had to make a few tweaks
and build a few things by hand. I have originals under RCS, but haven't
checked in the changes yet.

(c) There is almost no free space on the NetBSD partition---perhaps we
can claim part of the scratch area for builds, etc. (although builds
over NFS were quite peppy tonight).

(d) sipb-nfs:/u2/lockers/netbsd has the goods. It's a NetBSD source tree
sup'ed from sun-lamp.
packages/ has XFree86-2.1 stuff in it (but it's
linked for the wrong set of shared libraries--I'll get a new version
		tomorrow).
athena/ has the kerberos stuff I built.

(e) The XFree86 server won't work in any reasonable fashion until either
(i) we get another non-PS/2 mouse or (ii) <mycroft@ai.mit.edu> finishes
updating the driver for the mouse. [I do have a working /etc/Xconfig, though!]

(f) there's a bunch of other athena stuff available from UCSC---I'll look this
over. We could either take this stuff, or take the linux-athena stuff
and rework it.

(g) Most other customizations I've done to the distribution are in ~root
or in /etc/ files.

I think we need to sit down and do some minor planning, at least, as far
as where to put sources for ports, which versions to use, and perhaps
arrange who's going to do what, etc. For lack of a better time, how
about after the SIPB meeting on Monday?
