I've ported much of the athena client software to the NetBSD environment.
This includes:
moira and friends (including register)
bin/login
attach
ftpd
zephyr (server and clients)
hesiod (libraries)
xlogin and friends

more stuff that I can't remember.
If you want to look at what I've done,
nfs mount (read-only)
baloo.ucsc.edu:/srvd
which is a NetBSD srvd that we use on a number
of i386 workstations around here. (Track is doing the right thing on
NetBSD)

To get to the source of this stuff, mount:
catstest-clusrv:/sysdev (everything is ifdefed with __NetBSD__ or
__386BSD__
The compiler I use on NetBSD has __386BSD__ defined, even though the
distribution version does not.
To see the Makefiles which make shared libraries of athena stuff under
NetBSD
mount:
drosophile:/g/lockers/buhrow1

Let me know if this stuff is helpful and if you need any documentation
on it.
