Since you are actually running the inbsd emacs19 off of the `system
packs' we provide, then I would guess that the problem has something
to do with your load-path. The elisp code on the system packs
correctly points emacs at /usr/athena/bin/ispell, and your own .emacs
file seems to do this as well, so I'm not sure what's changing this,
but it doesn't seem to be a problem with the installed emacs.
Can you try it with `emacs -q' on your machine and see if you still
have problems?
