Hi, all! I was pointed to this list as containing several folks who might
be interested in a local NetBSD get-together, maybe with aspirations towards
becoming a loose Boston-area NetBSD user's group.

If anyone's interested, please mail me. So far, there are at least four of
us interested, and most of us are agreeing that Cambridge is the place to
meet. We've had someone volunteer their apartment for the purpose, even.

In case any of you missed my post to netbsd-users:

NetBSD is very cool, but it distinctly lacks the sense of community that
many other similar projects share. NetBSD will be stronger as a project and
will be more enticing to new developers if we look like we get along with
each other and if it looks like we're a positive community that's satisfying
to join and that's fun to participate in. (Excuse my linguicide.)

Getting together is part of this... If we can attach names to faces, we're
more likely to work with each other without the maddening squabbles that
seem to characterize NetBSD. Anyway, kicking back with a {beer,cider,coke}
and shooting the offal will be fun regardless.

So, again, please email me if you're interested. We're going to shoot, in-
itially, for this weekend, I think, perhaps with a fallback to next weekend
if that works better for the majority.

Later...
