So, I just did an install via NFS (okay.. still not sure if it actually
worked, but it looks like it may have)
I needed to change a few things:
mount_nfs and portmap were added to the install floppy
I changed system from /afs/sipb.... to my mountpoint,
as well as having to mount by hand /srvd and /os
and of course I babysat everything...
question: while it sort of makes no sense to install if
AFS fails to work (what's an athena machine without AFS) it looks
like enough problems with the installation/AFS exist that having
a secondary setup that allows for using NFS wouldn't be
all too evil...
opinions?
