Thank you for that long, detailed response which basically amounts to

Unfortunately, I still have no idea what Nathan was talking about.
I don't even know if he thought I did something wrong. Let's examine
his exact wording. He wrote:

I haven't yet seen a definition of "pullups from the mainline" which
differs from what I did.

Please define "consistent worldview".
and makes it easier to track what changes that have been made on the
mainline actually made it in to the release.
