I'm not sure I fully understand what you want to achieve..
Each disk has one MBR, which is what is 'run' when the
machine starts up (assuming it's the boot disk).
What you're asking for is for the MBR on your primary
disk to jump into the bootloader in the NetBSD partition
on your secondary disk (I think).
This is exactly what os-bs is supposed to do.. why do
you not want it?
