I compiled synctree from the synctree locker and installed it in
/usr/athena/bin. Also, I got so sick of seeing "console" message mess
up the display, that I modified /etc/syslog.conf to write to /dev/ttyp0
rather than /dev/console. This is not the right answer, but it more or
less does the job, and I think it's good enough until a real solution is
found. Anyone who disagrees can change it back, and I won't argue about
it, though. I hate running xterm -C, but I will if I have to.
