I believe services such as computer browser were turned
off because they're not that useful in the Athena environment
and they're fairly chatty on the network.
Network services without any specific utility were all turned
off. (Basically this means a lot of the microsoft networking
services, such as computer browser).
If there's some good reason to turn any of the services back
on, I suspect that it won't be a problem.

P.S. We should install SecureCRT, viruscan and other site licensed
software as well...
