Hello java-lovers,
I have the most simple question for Java-starters. How can I run a
Java-program. Eg I-ve downloaded Teikade (was Dejava). I've extended my
classpath with the proper Path for Teikade-classes. I extended my PATH
with de BIN-dir of TEIKADE. Now how do I start TEIKADE (or Dejava). The
doc says run installer. I found a class INSTALLER.CLASS in the
CLASSES\UTIL directory. I've connected (bind) the .CLASS extend to the
JAVA.exe (interpreter). If I double-click on the class a DOS-window
pop's up and then after displaying the help desk it shuts down. That's
it. I guess there are problems with the long filenames. Or is there
another very simple thing I should know, do. SO what do I have to do to
run.
