Hey gang,
Anyone having luck with GridBagLayout?
I want to make the following window
---------------------------------------
| Menu Bar |
| |
| [Button] ----------------------- || |
| [Button] | | || |
| [Button] | | || |
| [Button] | Canvas | || |
| [Button] | | || |
| | | || |
| | | || |
| ----------------------- || |
| ----------------------- |
| ----------------------- |
---------------------------------------
Where the [Button] is a button of constant size, the small square is a
canvas, and there is a vertical and horizontal scroll bar to the right and
south of the canvas respectively. I can do this stuff using BorderLayouts,
Panels, and the like, but that involves maintaining 4 panels whereas a
GridBagLayout seems like it could do the entire thing in one?
Whaddya think? Possible? Not much docs on it and code isn't quite intuitive.
Thanks,
Mike
