I know many programmers want to use fast java compiler(rebuilt javac,
espressogrinder or others). And it is heavy work to rebuild java
compiler by j2c(java .class to C translator) and C compiler.

I send a short mail whether be permitted to distibute or not to
licensing@java.sun.com about a month ago, but have not received a
reply yet. I'm afraid of violating the laws of copyright, so that the
fast java compiler binary itself rebuilt by j2c cannot be distributed
from my web page.
I'd like to know about the copyright of java runtime library in
detail.

Fortunatelly I've received several reports that javac becomes
available on HPUX, FreeBSD, and Linux. They said that it was easy to
install it but it took long time to rebuild java compiler. Now many
appleters become to write java applet with javac/espressogrinder (with
j2c) and netscape on platforms which are not supported by any vendors
offically.

Have a nice drip.
