Matt,

There is three books that I know about presently available. Presenting
Java, by John December, JAVA! by Tim Richie I belive and the 60 Minute
guide to Java. This is from memory so the titles and/or authors might
not be exact. All three books refer to the Alpha release of Java.
Presenting Java is a small intro type of book. These books are available
in St. Louis at many bookstores. IMHO the best and most complete of these
first books is JAVA! Some on this list have complained in the past that
this book is not intro enough. There will be many more books in the next
couple of months and probably much more detailed. There is a book due
on Java from the twenty one days series. This book was suppose to come out
in November. I am guessing that this book will cover the Beta release.
If you want a list of all the books coming out then visit www.amazon.com.

three books refer to the alpha release of Java.
