Oh yeah? Why don't you also wish maybe Microsoft should be involved? I bet,
they would port it all in one week (by themselves and without considering
any 3rd party developers out there). We're talking about a programming
language here that will introduce global distributed information to the
world and change the vicious cycle of blown-up software packages and
constant expensive updates.
They want to be sure to do it right and - what I really like - are
considering a myriad of second opinions coming from all over the place.

Sun is working on Java (fomer Oak) for almost 5 years now, so would you
mind keeping it down and wait another 2 or 3 months? They are aware of what
they've created (and it probably scares the *&%#$ out of them sometimes ;),
especially since Sun's stock soared ever since Java was introduced. It's
the best thing that ever happened to them, and they deserver it!
