The complaining about NetworkClient class not being a java class anymore
has now far outweighed the significance of that fact. Yes, there is no
more NetworkClient class in the officially portably supported Java API.
But there *is* still a Socket class -- and the functionality of the
NetworkClient class over and above the Socket class was *very* minor --
and in fact, if you wrap the Socket input streams up with PrintStreams
and BufferedInputStreams then you have the exact functionality of the old
NetworkClient class. This is not an earth-shattering change.
