Why dont you just:

machine1: xhost +machine2
machine1: rlogin machine2
machine2: setenv DISPLAY machine1:0
machine2: hotjava&
machine2: logout
machine1: 

Where machine1 is your local X-Station and machine2 is the Solaris WS that
you can run hotjava on.
