Hi !
Well, i've tried to add browser/* classes from alpha3 to the new
classes direcory. I'd want to run old hotjava class with the new java beta 1.0
I can try to do everything i want, the java run-time refuse to find
hotjava class !
Expl :
java/
bin/
.java_wrapper
hotjava (the old one)
java (the link)
sun4/
java (the exe)
.... all the exes
classes/
java/
sun/
browser/
hotjava.class
..... all the classes from browser
CLASSPATH = /java/classes:/java/classes/browser
And i tried to run
from bin './hotjava'
I get : "Can't find class browser.hotjava'
or, from classes/browser/ '../../bin/java hotjava'
I get : Can't find class hotjava
So, can't I use the old Hotjava viewer with the new JDK distrib ??
Or, did I missed something : what replace Hotjava viewer in the
new JDK release ?
