At the recent Siggraph Java BOF, Java Marketing Manager Kim Polese said
that the Alpha 3 release for NT was imminent. When pressed to define
imminent, she said "like next week". This was 2 weeks ago now, and Java
development here using NT Alpha 2 has stopped, awaiting Alpha 3.
Ms. Polese mentioned that the delay thus far has been due to a lack of
resources, and we certainly appreciate how busy you folks must be in
readying Beta for this fall. However, a new projected time frame for when
the NT community may see Alpha 3 would be very useful and greatly
appreciated.
Any information the Java team could provide in this regard would be greatly
appreciated.
