dill (Angie Hinrichs):
.... to get a Master's degree, pay off my MIT debts and find my true
calling as a skyscraper window washer, yeah.
I'm working in Palo Alto, CA at Xerox PARC through January '95 for my
6A master's thesis. The exact topic is yet to be determined, but it
will have something to do with audio applications on ATM LAN's.
[That's Asynchronous Transfer Mode Local Area Networks! ATM here is
a fiber optics network technology, not an Automated Teller Machine.]

dskern (David Kern):
My parents are dragging me home for a week or two after graduation.
I'll be at 908-453-3512, and will (maybe) be able to dial in
occasionally...
Yippee. Family fun. What an oxymoron.
Well, I can dial in occasionally. Occasionally. At least it's going on their
phone bill, not mine... :)

eichin (Mark W. Eichin):
life:
Back from California. A wedding this week, then calmth (:-) until
my next trip to Switzerland...
play:
Kitten count: Saw 7, didn't get to see "many".
Survival Research Labs event was fun (and loud) from a distance,
but there was apparently some kind of ticket scam, so
many people didn't get in.

Boy, it was weird to go to graduation and see most of the people you
consider your classmates graduate. (It was also weird to see some of
the people who were your TA's walk with those getting their bachelor's
degrees.... I guess I'll do the reverse next year, walk with people
who I was the TA for.)

WEEKLY SCHEDULE:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Weekly schedule? Bwaahahaha, it's summertime! Much less structure.
----------------------------------------------------------------
SUMMER PLANS:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am working at OpenVision (Security Business Unit, Cambridge office)
again this summer, about halfway between half-time and full-time. If
I'm lucky, I'll be working on securing applications and protocols. If
I'm less lucky, I'll be doing a lot of testing. Bleah.
I might try to use the rest of my time to get into better shape, we'll
see if this good intention actually pans out.
Last weekend in June I plan to fly down to Houston to attend some
friends' wedding, and I also plan to go home for a couple of weeks in
mid-August. Other than that I will probably stay in the New England
area this summer, but other random weekend road-trips may arise. :)

FALL TERM, 1994:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Anyone who wishes to give me their opinions of 6.036, 6.037, 6.821,
6.853, 6.044J, 6.045J, or 6.875J are welcome to email me. I need to
take 4 of these courses (at least 30 units of which must be graduate H
units) to finish off my classes requirements for my M.Eng. degree, and
only have vague ideas which ones I should take. Also considering
random other classes like "Intro to Acting" and some Women's Studies
courses (maybe at Wellesley?) to finish my minor.
SPRING TERM, 1994:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
THESIS. Yeah, that's the ticket.
