	Of course, you have cleverly omitted the context. From the
underlined, it seems clear he was referring to NIXON's (remember him?
conservative, Republican, crook) anti-inflation wage and price controls.
He was saying "Me too. I'll do what the Republicans did here, only more of it".
	But it sounds so much more damning without this background ...
	This sort of stuff is what makes me very skeptical of a lot
attacks on Kennedy.
