Your second sentence doesn't make any sense to me. If I were Joe Random
Athena user, why should I have to be bothered with e-mail from random
people I don't know, and reply to tell these people not to log some file
which is in *MY* home directory?
I think ca-maintainers should simply *AUTOMATICALLY* add anyone who
auto-change their .plan file with their last login time to the list
which means CA won't check their .plan files at all. That would solve
all these silly debates.
