The prey of the beast Trapped in between
Screamed bloody murder Heaven and hell
The line is so fine between He knows all the secrets
Hoping and hurting You don't want to tell
Former believers they There's nowhere to run and
Beg for release There's nowhere to hide
As love looking down Love knows you all too well
On them He will find you
Smiles and picks his teeth

Love is the ghost Love is a poet,
Haunting your head Love sings the songs
Love is the killer you Pointing his finger you
Thought was your friend Follow along
Love is creature who Voices are calling
Lives in the dark The monster wants out of you
Sneak up, will stick you and Paws you and claws you,
Painfully pick you apart. You try not to fall

Love is the leech, Love is a ghost,
Sucking you up Haunting your head
Love is a vampire, Love is the killer you
Drunk on your blood Thought was your friend
Love is the beast that will Love is the teacher who
Tear out your heart Lives in the dark
Hungrily lick it and Sneak up and stick you and
Painfully pick it apart Painfully pick you apart
