cyrus (Cyrus Shaoul):
Why is it that when you DIE, you can't take your

fallas:
Buttercup loved riding her horse out into the countryside, but most of
all she enjoyed tormenting Wesley, the farm boy. She never called him
Wesley, though. Just "Farm Boy..." But Wesley never replied with any-
thing other than "As you wish."
"Farm Boy? Fetch me a bucket of water."
(He bows his head, his eyes on hers.)
"As you wish."
"Farm Boy, I want that saddle cleaned and polished. I want to
see my face shining in it by morning."
(He turns and looks at her.)
"As you wish."
And as time went on, Buttercup was astonished to find that every
time Wesley said, "As you wish," what he meant was "I love you."
"Farm Boy, I need a pile of firewood for today.."
(He looks at her for a moment,
then turns to go.)
"As you wish."
(She looks around desperately.
Her eyes fall upon a pitcher
right above her.)
"Farm Boy? Fetch me that pitcher? ...Please?"
(He walks very near to her,
looking down at her, and
slowly reaches up to take
the pitcher down and hand
it to her.)
"As you wish..."
**
"I have loved more deeply than a killer like you could ever know."
(He inhales sharply in pain, swiftly lifting his hand as if to strike.)
(She flinches.)
"The next time, my hand flies on its own, for where I come from, there
are penalties for a woman who lies."
(He pulls her ruthlessly to
her feet and begins running
again.)
**
"Nothing you say could hurt me."
"He died well.. that should please you. No blubbering or bribe attempts
the way most of them do. He just said, 'Please... please, I have to live.'
So I asked him what it was that was so important that he should have to
live for. And he spoke of a maid of surpassing beauty and faithfulness;
I can only assume he meant *you*."
(She closes her eyes in agony.)
"You mock my pain!"
(He looks at her in anger and
torment.)
"He spoke of faithfulness, Highness! Tell me the truth: was it even a week
after your farm boy's death before you were engaged to your prince?"
(She stands in rage.)
"You mocked me once! Never do it again! I DIED that day!"
(The prince's riders gallop into
sight along the opposite ridge.
Wesley turns to look at them.
Buttercup comes up behind him and
gives him a good shove down the
steep hill.)
"And you can die, too, for all I care!"
"As... you... wish...."

lavin (Anne R LaVin):
First to fall over when the atmosphere is less than perfect
Your sensibilities are shaken by the slightest defect
You live your life like a canary in a coal mine
You get so dizzy even walking in a straight line
You say you want to spend the winter in Forenza
You're so afraid to catch a dose of influenza
You live your life like a canary in a coal mine
You get so dizzy even walking in a straight line
Canary in a coal mine
Canary in a coal mine
Canary in a coal mine
Now if I tell you that you suffer from delusions
You pay your analyst to reach the same conclusions
You live your life like a canary in a coal mine
You get so dizzy even walking in a straight line
Canary in a coal mine
Canary in a coal mine
Canary in a coal mine
First to fall over when the atmosphere is less than perfect
Your sensibilities are shaken by the slightest defect
You live your life like a canary in a coal mine
You get so dizzy even walking in a straight line
Canary in a coal mine...

Organization: What, me organized???
I herad the following while flying out of POC (Brackett Field in La Verne, about
35 miles east of Los Angeles on I-10).
The tower closes at 2100 local time, and Kellog Hill is one of the reporting
points. I-10 goes over this hill, and the following dialogue took place at
2050...
Cessna xxx: brackett tower, cessna xxx inbound for landing, have
information victor, about 10 miles to the west
tower: cessna xxx, report kellog hill, expect left base for 26L
(a few minutes later)
tower: cessna xxx, how's the traffic eastbound on the 10?
cessna: negative contact at 10 o'clock
tower: nononono, I mean, are there a lot of cars on the I-10
eastbound? I'm about to go home...
