A hung jury IS a mistrial.   The state is free to re-prosecute with
a new jury if it so chooses.  There's no double-jeopardy issue.

Since I might some day want to serve on a jury, I'm not going to state
in this public forum whether jury nullification is a good idea, or
whether I'd always vote to acquit people of a particular crime.  I don't
have complete confidence that nobody who reads my words will ever have
the power to disqualify me from a jury.
